Regardless of lowered suspension, you can still set the geometry, top spec models are no different to base spec in so far as toe is adjustable at the front and fixed at the rear.
And you'd definitely notice the difference in toe regardless of model, we've all driven cars with TRE's that haven't been set up and the handling's horrible. Same at the rear, the increased toe makes the back end feel much more planted at higher speeds, if you can get your base spec model to those high speeds then the toe will benefit you there too.
Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound elitist at all!! All I meant was in terms of how taut the front end is, with less roll and flex as the front suspension loads, you can explore how the back end reacts a lot more easily. Therefore you will notice differences in now twitchy/planted the rear is dependant on the difference in the toe and camber! I'll get back in my box then...
