Out of interest, how long does yours take to warm up? In this weather mines only just touching 70 after 10 miles or so, is imagine its wasting fuel on the cold map longer than it needs to.
AFAIK you're clutching at straws there mate, but yeah there's something not right.
But mine takes about that long to warm up, if i'm going steady. If I'm on a back road, it's more like 6 miles, even if I try and go steady.
Lol, it just seems odd that every other car I've owned has done much better than book figures with me until the HDis....there must be some reason fir that, I just can't figure out what yet.
I don't dare thrash mine till its past 70c.....so it always takes ages to warm up. I've noticed its really steamy in the cold though, just as the 1.4 was as the headgasket was going. Hopefully that's not happening with this though.
