Ah fair enough, I got the wrong idea, that 80v is when the 'spike' occurs, its not constant, that won't even be measurable with a multimeter though, happens far too quick. You'd need something like picoscope to measure that, and the engine has to be running, I remember doing injector tests at college now.
But, I thought you were just testing voltage presence without the engine running (seeing as Kent can't get it to start), which would only be battery voltage iirc.
