Here's the thing...
There's an elderly lady who my girlfriends mum looks after / does housekeeping for. This elderly lady is incredibly wealthy (hence needing help with the housework - the gaff is huge) and as a hobby she collects handbags - regularly without ever collecting them.
One birthday she gave a bag to my girlfriend as a gift - it had never been used but it was part of her 'collection'. It won't be a fake - but at the same time we can't prove it's authenticity.
