You wanna try proper beer kits lads. Costs me about £14 for 40 pints, and once you've got the hang of it it's as good as any commercial beer...
You can brew from grain and hops if you want, then it's about £5-£8 for 40 pints, but you need some pricey equipment like a mash tun, wort chiller and a boiler. Might try that at some point though
