I can't see how 302s are better than GTi6 brakes with decent pads with one test, if they can lock the wheels, then any other brakes which can lock the wheels will perform as well - brakes don't give you more tyre grip?
My 266s with OK pads, if I drop the anchors at 70mph, on a dry flat road I could lock the wheels with NO problems... The only time I'd get issues is if I did that 10 times on the trot with NO break - then you might start to see a bit of fade...
I've NEVER managed to fade my brakes even with "pissy" 266s...
