Unfortunately that's what we do though. Why would we listen to what people tell us is good? We don't want to be told what to do!
Although another good (and very true) saying is 'Girls always end up with the good guys, because they're the ones who stay'.
She'll work it out eventually, but let her miss you! You've stated your position, the ball is in her court. Back off (as hard as it is) and give her time to realise that she's messed up, and she'll come running back. If she doesn't, you know you're better off and can begin to move on. The more you try, the more you'll push her away. Or, she'll feel bad and come back to you, but you don't want a pity parade buddy! I know it sounds harsh but it's the best thing to do
