They're pretty easy to throw a turbo on the 1.4/1.6's what with the exhaust manifold being up front and the flange/short manifold arrangement is basically begging for one.
If you have the iron block you'll be good for 7-8psi, if you're on the ally then 5-6psi is probably about the max on a bog standard engine and headgasket as the liners tend to move....
