As my air con is nackerd in the 6 i am going to remove it inc the pump from The engine.
Does anyone know what parts i need to do this? How much they cost? And where to get them from?
Thanks in advance

Iirc don't you just need a new belt? From a car with the non air con? Like the rallye

You need the non-ac aux set-up from the rallye. Slightly different pulley arrangement iirc...

Thats what i was thinking but ive read that mayb there is more to it than just changing the belt to a smaller rallye one? Tensioners or a pulley mayb?
Ed do you know if i can get this as a kit? If so any ideas on price and where from?
Also would the aux set up be the same from a non a/c 2.0 16 xsi?

Just buy the rallye parts instead of the '6 equivalent

Yep, just get the rallye tensioner and idler.
Also remove all the pipework while the engine is out of the car.

^^ Chris he's not taking his engine out?! His AC Is knackered that's all!!
I think Lynxengineering sell a kit, but the simplest way would be to have a quick search of the '6 forum, find out what the rallye set-up involves, and just buy that with a rallye belt
I'll have a peek when I get a minute, see if I can find any info on it

I wouldn't bother mate, you wont get an accurate representation; as it's a ph2 most of it's probably fallen off already...
AND SO IT BEGINS

Looking at the picture Bongo put up... its the £32.90 tensioner.. and the £38.70 idler... = £71.60 so then would need the belt?!

Go to a scrappy and find any xu petrol engined 306 and take the parts off that. £bumrape for the rallye parts, pennies from any other 306

Think some of the belts are different. PAS pulley on the 6 is smaller than the one on the 1.8 So some have a shorter belt.

I tried to get some screenshots from ServiceBox but I can't find the right section for it. If anyone needs it and knows what section it is post it up and I'll grab some screenshots.
