URGENT: XUD not starting after stage 1

URGENT: XUD not starting after stage 1

I gave my brother 306 a stage 1 tune and it won't start, primed it and nothing, just cranks over...

Can anyone help?
It's a Lucas pump btw.

Well assuming the pumps been emptied, they take fricken ages to prime I had to tow my mates. I dont know much about the lucas pumps though other than since youve had air in the system must be aired up.

This happens when you turn the fuel up too much.

After a certain point it will refuse to start.

Turn it down two turns, see if it starts.

If it does, do quarter turns up from there.

If it doesn't after two turns, do another two.

That's from personal experience on my Lucas anyway (from when I turned it down before MOT, then up really high after)..

Turned down the max fuel and she fired up a dream!
Goes okay, running a GT15 and spools up super quick compared to mine but feels shite past 3500. Bosch is so much easier.

No worries mate.

I had a Lucas+GT15'd ph2 off DumDum & Tae. Spooled so much faster then my Bosch+T2. If not pushed I think GT15@20PSI + Bosch is pretty win for daily driving.

Yeah it's much more 'drivable' but wank when past 3500 on that set-up, feels pretty slow compared to my 205 TBH

I had a K03 with my Bosch and it was less driveable then my current T2. I like the NA feel lower down, makes it better to drive around town, the K03 would bog down a lot more, and the exhaust sound was rubbish on boost..
