Advise wanted :) removing powder coat.

Anyone got any advice on what to use to remove powder coat from alloy wheels i dont want to get them blasted would prefer to use chemical if possable whats the best to use

Nitromors? Should be strong enough

I have been told that stuff is useless and wont touch the powder coat?

Possibly I wouldn't really know but I know it will eat through paint easy.

Yes ive striped wheels with it before and it eats normal paint but been told it wont touch the powder coat as its alot stronger.

Nitromorse, I've done 4 coats on mine, cleaned it up and then used a wire brush took most of the paint off, then used wire will and p80 lol. So far one wheel has taken 6 hours just to get up to p400 grit haha

Thats alot of work for one wheel i can get them blasted cheep but have been told the blaster will strugle to remove it

Yeah grant stripping my lensos being a bitch of a job so instead of stripping them just gunna key them and paint and laquer them, f*ck stripping the other three lol

your best bet is celluose thinners paint it on and leave for few mins just remember to keep away from ur rubber
