Why do i now have a mini pond in my car...?

After sorting my heater matrix, i am greeted the next morning by a puddle residing in the passenger side floor well. As i have rubber matts, the water just remains. It's rain water - not coolant (matrix not leaking), and only appears after a rainy night (not while driving through rain). I think there is also a much smaller amount collecting in the drivers side.

What have a forgotten to bodge/refit? I'm guessing it is something to do with a drain? Seeing as it only happens on standing?


Also, I finally have HOT AIR a welcome change after 10months of numbness.

maybe one of the door seals is fooked or something?
gotta bear in mind well down here anyway we've not had some proper rain in quite a while, mine only leaks in the heaviest of rain

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet as I finished it late at night and have been so busy since, but you could be right! I'm hoping it's something simple as that dash IS NOT coming out again, evaaar! I'd rather split open another set of valeos!

Yes, i have a sunroof but its not from there, well it can't be as its only after removing the dash (to change the heater matrix).

I might just jetwash the shit out of the front tomorrow and see. Its bound to be something silly.. perhaps from the windscreen area is what i'm thinking.

My 306 hdi was leaking in the boot, passanger door front and the aerial as well. Fixed the lot the car dry as hell boot seal, door seal and silocon on the aerial.

Check you've put the cover over the blower intake back on properly, under the passenger side scuttle panel.
I didn't put it back on properly once after messing about with it and ended up with a puddle in the foot well!
