Hi all I am new to this forum the problem when finally got my Peugeot 1994 2112cc diesel none turbo started (which as stood for 8 years) it revvs that high that I have to switch it off before startingi renewed the fuel filter drained of all old fuel cleaned out the tank and fuel pipes the engine number xd-1b-1v and the injection pump numbers mico lic bosch 9 460 o34 408 ve4/9f 2250 r174-3 serial number 065 1670 any help would be great thanks

Oil leak from turbo?
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

is the accelerator cable returning properly?
other than that I would imagine its a fuel pump internal problem if it has sat for many years
maybe is non turbo because it's totally broken and leaking from seals???
