drivers door loom wires

Before I start to fix the drivers door loom lock popping problem this weekend, would anyone have a diagram explaining the door loom wire colours and or codes please ? ph 3 1999/2000 2 litre hdi turbo diesel estate lx.

Do pug do a repair piece to include the car loom side door connector with say 2 foot of wires ?

The door has the lock, mirror controls for each side, the window control for each side, lights for the control buttons and speaker, and an earth I presume ?

This morning as well as the door being "frozen" to the car ( finaly unforze the rear passenger door and got in that way !! ), the dead lock refused to open, the lock only turning anticlockwise !!, but finally got in. The engine started really well as usual, and when the car heated up ( 3 degrees centigade was flashing, fist time I have seen the temp gauge flashing !! ) and the sun finaly woke up, the car behaved, all day!! thank god.

Anyway you know what i will be doing tommorrow, hope it don't rain.

Peugeot no longer sell the repair loom, eBay is your best bet.


For heatshrink, there's two types, get the self-adhesive one, so it self-seals and provides a watertight connection. - Get this in different sizes as well.

Solder - Use the 60/40 Lead - Tin combination, it's much easier to use.
