Nice one mattcheese
he plans on putting it on ebay after fixing it
then withdrawing the auction if it don't reach £10k which he wants for it
because everyone knows auctions started at 99p with no reserve are free on ebay

Not for cars they aren't, still costs a tenner to list even at 99p.

But that's against the rules! (Lets not go there again... )
I always search in 'cars' when looking for cars, odd as it may seem.

Just got it home.
Definitely needs a HP pump, changed FPR and still no fuel past the pump. Plenty at the filter so lift pump has life.
On closer closer inspection it needs a new rear bumper, front bumper needs paint and there's a few dinks in the drivers door.
Booked in for a cambelt, waterpump and HP pump next Friday so should be on the roa next weekend.

UPDATE!
After thinking it was a HP pump issue i simply didn't have the time to fix it myself, dropped it off at a good friends garage, told them to fit a cambelt, waterpump and HP pump replacement and send me the bill....
Really really glad they decided im a 'tard and looked at it first! turns out ECU was fried so changed ecu and key chip etc and shes a runner now in daily use and only owes me £500. I still haven't put any fuel in it as it came with half a tank

Ive got a bunch of bits ready for it to go on
Decat
Exhaust
gti6 brakes
gti6 master cyl
rear shocks
beam mounts
bottom arms
S16 red fleck interior
And only things other than that are:
Repair N/S door loom
Replace rear bumper
Have paintwork mopped
Maybe refurb the clones / swap with white ones on the rallye.
Just planning to tidy it up and keep it tidy, needs a full service and cambelt so that will be done in due course then maybe sell it in the spring or just tuck it away in the shed at mums.

the '6 m/c is only a fraction larger than the HDI one anyhow mate, just getting the '6 rotors on there made a world of difference to mine..

i thought the HDi was 23.4mm for some reason..
Anyway, if you want to remove the ABS go for the 4 port one from a 406 non-ABS model, if you like ABS then keep the HDi one.
