They have to be bloody strong and all it takes is an imperfection in them or a bit of extreme force and it will weaken them and then its just downhill from there lol

Wouldn't worry about adding the Bosch...if it's gonna fail it'll fail regardless of pump or mileage or engine speed... Main reason I'd never own an XUD lol, it'd always be in my mind.
That is a hell of a mess though lol, never seen one so bad!
