arp xud head studs
#1
hi guys im new on here im trying to find out about some arp head studs for my xud but arp dont seem to have any listed so i have found two different sets which may do the job the first one is a renault set 216 4301 these r quite short though and would fit without the 38mm spacers with just the washers that come with nut set .i have a bolt for the renault engine its 12 x1.5 mm and the lenght from underside of bolt head to end of thread is 117mm on the pug xud bolt its 119mm from the end of the bolt to the underside of the 38mm spacer so about the same.the second set ive looked at are for a honda s2000 208 4702 these obviously are 12mm x1,5 again i know the bolt lenghth its 163mm from bolt end to uderside of bolt head so these r much longer the pug bolt from top of 38mm spacer to end of bolt is roughly 145 mm so honda ones 18mm longer ,so depending on the thread lenghth and how far they will wind into the block and the thread lenghth at top end of bolt these might do the job also . ive emailed some arp dealers to try and find stud overall lengths and thread lengths of these two kits so just waiting to here back.
id be interested to hear ur thoughts on this and wether any off you guys hav any info on arps for an xud

looks awesome. what rods are you running? standard ones are likely to make a break for freedom with all that

So they're just out a phase one. Still likely to kill them from what I've seen. At least stick some hdi ones in or some forged. Zx_volcane gets hold of forged but they are expensive. Its always a chance they will go if not.

Ps everything looks awesome. Start a build thread properly on here in sure a lot of people would love to see it.
