Hi my outside temp sensor is showing - - -. has done since I got it. Presumed since my wing mirror was held together with electrical tape It was the sensor so replaced the mirror and still the same. Any ideas?

Door wiring either broken or corroded plug, had same issue and i cleaned the door loom connections

Okay cleaned it and it now shows a reading. Reading was correct for a hour or so but then it went mental telling me it was -15 and keeps moving about. Fault or just need more cleaning?

Took it off and cleaned it a bit more. Noticed the threads on the screw bit were buggered and when I thought it was tight it was only half on so gave it some persuasion and now jobs a good one. Thank you
