Any one know if the 406 110bhp ecu will work on my 306 with a fmic and if so is it still easy to remap

Just remap your current ecu.
You can get 125bhp from a stg1 remap without intercooler Wishes for more power...

Yeah I'm just gona wait until I put my fmic on to get it mapped just waiting for the weather to warm up abit to do it but I was just gona get a 406 ecu for £30 from the scrappy for the mean time untill I got the cash for a custom map

If you get a 406 ECU you will need to get it unlocked as I don't think the BSI of the 406 will work.
The 406 ECU route is a silly idea when you get remaps for £50 when they're on offer.

Yes it will "work" as they both use the same EDC15C2 ECU (as long as its the bosch system not the siemens) however the new ECU will need remapping to your old ECU and it might well end up in limp mode as your car doesn't have the map sensor and boost control on the turbo.
In short there is no point.

Cheers lads just wanted abit more fule for cheap when I do the fmic but just gona wait and get her mapped

Na just gona get the standard ecu mapped once fmic is done the 110 was just a idea
