I was gonna offer him £250 for them inc postage. paid that for my last set of catcam 743's which are a far superior cam for these J4 engines so i thought that was fair amount but never mind.
Besides that i f*cking despise when people ask for 'offers'. I'm not the buyer AND the seller! Everyone knows a figure they would be happy with if something is for sale so why waste time messing around with offers!?

Yeah not many ph.1s...do prefer the look of them but then I'm a ph.1 kinda guy.
Great project...much cheapness. Would love a track slag to muck about with!

Chap, I dont know you, but holy crap what is even with this? I said make me an offer..you said you would offend me, so I said well if your going to offend me dont bother... They arnt specifically "for sale" hence "make me an offer" theres no need for flying off the hook at all..
£250 wouldn't have offended me at all... That's a perfectly acceptable offer, send me a PM if you are actually interested / can sort it out / get them posted etc.

Just to clarify it's not a personal attack on you Darren as I don't know you either.
Exactly as I said above I don't like making offers. I said you must know how much you would sell them for and you replied with oh well never mind.
As I've now splashed out on another 106 I wouldn't be able to afford them now untill my Christmas bonus comes in at the end of the month if you still have them at that time my offer will still stand.

Thought that was one of my old mates one for a minute! He had an X reg red VTS on his mums insurance when we were at college but its not the same reg. We did evenings and finished at 8pm so the town was empty when we left college carpark, needless to say I couldn't keep up in the 1.4 306!

They do shift on alright but you have to constantly wring the neck off them for them to be 'quick'
Hence why Peugeot didn't put that engine in the sportier 306's.
Should be ample for a cheapo track car though with some shinies

He was 2 up as well, still always won traffic light grand prixs lol.... I won on mpg though.
Yeah should be good for track, seem to remember Hammond used one of these on a part tarmac/part loose track (my ignorance not knowing the track name lol) and it looked more fun than the big beemer and Toyota the other 2 had!

They great at combe definitely be able to keep up with the bigger stuff.
Cams, map, exhaust and induction usually see 151 bhp and stripped.Well with the right driver it would definitely give a gti6 a run for it's money.

I've never had a problem dispatching them with the rallye but she seems to go well for standard.
My problem is my old 106 gti was pug performance built jp4 with piper cams and was proven 165bhp+ so every other one I drive unless it's 170ish bhp and running a rallye box they just don't impress me

bhp per ton is the worst possible way to measure a cars performance. Doesn't take torque figures or gear ratios into account or handling! Standard for standard I'm yet to find a 106 / Saxo that will touch a gti6 / rallye.

Those look like figures from standard vehicles to me, smart arse. :p Whats the point of comparing them if they're both modified, it's completely backwards lol.
You better take me out in this next time i see you, always wanted a go in one.

Poodle I'm hoping to do the 'ring in this thing so your welcome to smash it around whatever road / track we happen to be at
Ive been to South Wales this morning and I am currently on my way home with a shiny decat straight through supersprint exhaust. Of Too Shrewsbury this evening to grab a tubular stainless 4 branch manifold too. This thing is gonna sound evil
