C pillar trim
#1
Hi guys, I have been reading on peoples projects that the C pillars (upper rear arch??) can rust on older 306's. Well, mine is 16 years old and I really cant figure out how to remove the C pillar trim (embarrassing as it sounds).

I have removed the 3 torx screws but it is still stuck in certain areas and I really dont want to snap any clips.

Does any other trim around it need removing.

I already know about my underside and boot floor, but is there anywhere else I should check for rust.

Thanks peeps Smile

Yeah the passenger side rots on PH1 and 2.
You need to remove the 3x torx screws, rear window seal, boot seal and then pull from the top. There is a push in clip at the top that just pulls out. As soon as thats all out, you can unplug the boot light cable and move it away.

Thanks Niall. Will have another bash at it with some actual progress on my project when I get time off work at the weekend.

I see a slight rust stain on the carpet in the boot. I tap it all and it all feels solid. I Can flex the trim slightly, but im greeted with what loks like foam.

As said, will post some heartbreak photos at the weekend.

Cheers for the reply
