Haha banter is to be expected. Don't really wanna lower it anymore as it ain't really practical for me.
It's lowered a bit. Decat. Stage 1 remap. Never had a hdi before so all advice welcome.

Is that a personalised plate, or photoshop? Tbh, get a decat downpipe and a stage 1 map on the ECU, should be a vast improvement from standard. I've got the Decat, just missing the map at the moment, thats the next mod on the list after i sort the rest of the mechanical side out....

Although mines a 5 door and is my daily driver it has had a stage 1 map, decat and straight through pipe, GTI-6 front brakes (best mod by far!) and GTI front suspension just need a GTI rear beam on it now and a FMIC, R70 pump and stage 2 map

welcome to the club! next steps after decat and stage 1 map are..... you can either run a torque limited stage 2 map. Or you can get the full blown stage 2 map if you fit an uprated clutch and FMIC. After that for stage 3 youre looking at bigger injectors, R70 pumps etc.
