Hi all
I can put another group buy together for forged rods if anyone is interested, I know some have asked.
Would need a min of three people, but can obvs do more.
Price is £420 delivered - and the turnaround is about 3 weeks from putting the order in.
The spec would be the same as last time
4340 forged steel
Multi-stage heat treated / stress durability processed
Made from two pieces
Balanced and matched to + - 1gram per end
Forgings are x-rayed, magnafluxed and sonic tested
Surface is shotpeen'd
the rods are a custom design based on the hdi rods - suitable for both XUD and HDI engines, and take the stronger hdi 'sputter' bearings.
They come complete with ARP con rod bolts.

Hdi rods can let go at standard power or hold for 200bhp, zx was running 230'ish bhp on hdi rods, one did bend tho. If you want reliable the only way to go is forged rods tbh.

I ran hdi 16v rods which bent, others have had them come out the block at sub 200bhp - point is hdi rods are not failsafe, but will give you more of a chance over standard rods.
You'll need to let me know asap if you want in on this order though
