Love the purchases mate!

Gaz went through a period of rotting like left-out cheese. Seem to have bucked their ideas up recently

Would love to but never will! Lost my rag with the single charge build. Will be leaving the car alone now once its mapped again.

Got the coilovers on yesterday and they're not low enough. That's all the way down with the helpers in. Think it may be time to remove the helpers Wink

Also put some hello headlight tint on which turned about to be frikin illuminous green! Looks awful so I'll definitely be removing that!

Today's Job is to TRY and lower the rear, straighten out the front bumper, lower the fronts, oh and change a Vauxhall Zafira Gearbox Sad

So I eventually got round to popping up some pics.

Removed the helpers from the front, just couldn't get it low enough with them in. Also lowered the rear beam and got it sitting much better now Smile need to get the new front wing painted which will be happening next Monday!

Engines on its way to being ready to go in. Looking forward to that bit!

Also not related to the pug at all...I've been making this for my Capri. Been struggling to find somewhere to mount the brake bias and line locker valves. Made a cage to mount over the transmission tunnel behind the handbrake. Need to cover it in sponge and grey vinyl.

So...world's most pointless update as I've done nothing to the car lately. Hopefully getting my centre caps back after they've been being painted the past 2 months :/
Also recently purchased a wishbone front subframe to replace the nasty TCA and roll bar subframe. Not a bad purchase for £30. Need to change all the bushes to poly bushes and stick some new 309gti wishbones on.

Getting it ready for the engine conversion.. Once that's underway there will be far more updates Wink

So the list of bits I've yet to have got...
-Radiator (probably 306)
-Recirc valve
-Lift pump and high pressure fuel pump (maybe injection fuel tank too)
-boost gauge Wink
-pipework to make the exhaust
-new front wishbones
-polybush set
-maybe gti-6 front brakes if I can find some cheap enough Wink

This is how it sits at the moment. Just try to keep it clean as there's not exactly much to show off on it :p

Its's getting there. Really need some 25mm ish spacers if anyone has any? Too much tuck on the rear Wink

As for the jam roll of a driver, they never replied to my letter or phone call. So rude Wink ended up getting the parts nice and cheap then got it sprayed whilst I was on holiday soaking up the sun :-)

So today was kind of productive I guess. Started work on the new engine (again). Began modifying my manifolds in the hope they will fit once in the car.
Cut, bent and welded the exhaust manifold (unfortunately forgot to take a picture of it welded)

Then set about shortening the inlet manifold. Pretty easy job in all fairness. Required a little bit of grinding and fettling to get them meshing perfectly. Now to get it welded up Smile
