Fluid leak
Dead master cylinder Air in system Few possibilities

Drums or discs on the back?
I'd say either a flexi hose has split or a slave cylinder inside the drums is leaking.

Drums yeah my slave cylinders are leaking but I have plenty of fluid wouldn't have thought that would take my hole peddle away

the cylinders need replacing then, for the brakes to work it needs to be a sealed system, it won't matter how much fluid there is, every time you step on the pedal, it'll just pump the fluid through the leak - no brakes

The handbrake wont work now the shoes are covered in brake fluid...

So, you know you've got leaking wheel cylinders, and then drive it around and wonder why you've lost all the brakes?
Seriously?
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.
