That window line looks like a AMC Pacer but I think the fuel cap is in the wrong place.

That's what I thought, but fuel cap is closer to the back of the window.
My uncle had a few of these in bits in his garage when I was a kid

Clue: its a signature european car, instantly recognisable, with a british touch added aftermarket work done in in a shop with a link to a big cat

nah had an option engine in it, the 3.0 was usually fitted to the zodiac, but it seems the original owners wanted something 'different' so paid extra - if i still have the paperwork for it i'll scan it in, looks like they took a 3.0 and had a 'stroker kit' put in, the mk4 OC claims that maybe 1% or less had it,

engine had been partially stripped by the time i got it, rusty water in all cylinders as the guy had left the sparks out...LOL, seized solid

Well bollocks to it - I partially got Dumdums one so I'm going to shove one up.

It's a bit of a bastard, but someone should get it - there's one person who is banned from this and he knows who he is...

Well, guess the engine...

Dumdums was essentially the engine anyway.

It's easier since it was fitted to a lot of cars - once you get the manufacturer, you've got the engine anyway.
