Serious?? Last year during the briefing we were told any vehicle deemed too loud will be pulled off so I was bricking it about that....
Then no one seemed to give a shite how loud a car was at all..... Mine is stupid loud but others were even louder. And yeh at what RPM? My 6 isn't that loud on a free rev (not exactly quiet though) but once it's on boost at high RPM it's stupid loud...... Looking to get a quieter 2.5" system custom built next year before I go high boost. They usually take it from 1.5m at 4.5k RPM, sometimes 3/4 of the rev range (this is for bikes mainly). Occasionally it differs but they are the most common.
On my old 6, if I revved it gently it would clear sound testing at pretty much any RPM, but if on WOT it was 101dB.

Yeah unfortunately so, every year I've been there's not been any problem regardless of how loud it is, but it's been introduced by prescott this year
Can't find any mention of what RPM they test at, just 104DB is the maximum limit.
