Strange washer issue
#1
Had a strange occurrence today, went to wash the windscreen, pulled the stalk back (as you do), and nothing happened. At first i thought the washer bottle was empty, but thats when i realised the back window was wet. Yeah, pull the stalk back to wash the FRONT window, and the REAR jet works. Try the actual rear jet switch, and same thing. Nothing i do will make the water come out of the jets on the bonnet.

Anyone had an issue like this? I'm sure they worked properly when i got the car (questioned myself now though! Doh ), wondering if it could be a dodgy stalk, or maybe a wiring fault?

I had this one, but only as a pump was faulty. It died shortly after.

Sounds like a dodgey pump to me, like something inside it is shorting out

Hmm...might try and source a spare pump to try. Not really up for keeping a bottle of water in the car purely to wash the window with! lol
