Northern convoy to FCS

So, this isn't that far away now, who'd be interested in convoying down on Friday 6th June? Route I'm thinking of is M1 - M42 - M5 - M4, avoiding the tolls on the M6.

I'll be going from Leeds setting off around 2.30-3.00pm on the Friday

Travelling over from northern ireland so would be handy to have someone/some people to convoy down with.

You'd probably be better off going down the M6 mate, but if you want to cross to the M1 you could meet us?

Well when I go visit family I use the Larne - Stranraer route, sounds daft but its so cheap that even driving up to Stranraer and then from Larne down to Mayo works out cheaper than sailing from Liverpool or Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire. If you were landing at Stranraer it wouldn't be to hard to get across to the M1.

im going Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead bud as it worked out the cheapest overall for me & the mate, then 3 of us travelling home.

Going to stay with the girlfriend in salford so ill be making the journey from manchester direction on the friday pal, could probably meet up and head down if theres no convoy from manchester as itd be good to get in touch with a few 306oc fellas before I get there basically.

Ok. If your gonna be in Salford your right next to the M60. Get on that, follow signs for M62 eastbound, Leeds is about 40 miles, we can go from there.

Early afternoon mate, may have to stop near Doncaster to pick up Matt if he doesn't get his 306 fixed. Probably about 2pm, steady run down at 70, the Benz hates anything over that

Yeah ill be happy to sit at 60/70 with a good playlist of music. Will keep fuel costs down a bit too
