Is there a 306 xud'd engined 306 with abs?
Failing that, Does the ABS on a HDI need the ECU to run? Or will it run solo?
Thanks

There is an ABS system on the XUD motors, that red one we went to get the FMIC off in wherever it was had ABS, have no idea if it is ran by an ABS Ecu.

So its just the case of Getting the unit and sensors?
Is it fly by wire. ? (a sensor attached to the brake pedal) or is it still a master / slave type system?

Its still a 'manual' system. Would be dangerous and illegal to have brakes run by electrics...especially French ones lol.
The ABS unit just sits between the master cylinder and the brakes themselves. This way, when it breaks, the brakes are still fully operational, just with a higher likelihood of locking/skidding.

Rub from a two Port mc in to the valve block the n it splits in to four feeds one to each corner.
It's not that simple to retro fit as you will need the sensor and pick up rings on each corner aswell.

Fronts are on the driveshafts rears i never looked that close at.
Remember you will also need all the wiring to each sensor and to redo all of the brake lines

I'm just gauging how much work would have to be put in to this. before/after the build.
Pump/Comp, Lines, Sensors, Pickups?
Lines will have to be put in anyway so thats no biggy.
Ps this is for a trike build btw (Link in sig)
