Fixing a rust patch
#61
The area around it needs tcutting anyway due to a bit of primer making it past the masking off. at least now there's some paint on the area so it might fool someone for a second or so. Going to take some time to blend it I think

Maybe cheaper to vinyl wrap the roof? Places down here only charge £60 for a roof wrap and it will probably look tidier than a rattle can job

I know Karl, in my defense....I forgot haha
The paint doesn't seem far off the color and it still doesn't have clear coat on , as you say Danny maybe i couod sand it 1500 grit?
Really not a fan of the wrapped roof look though thats the problem Sad

Think 1500 may be too coarse I usually use something around 1800-2000 grit with plenty of soapy water you will tell when all the peel is out Smile

Quick photo of the paint, the match is pretty darn close just need to smooth out the line. Tried some cutting compound on it earlier which removed the oversprayed primer but blend the edged just too the paint off. Also got some 2000 grit paper which I'll try with warm soapy water tomorrow to smooth out the paint before laquering
