Strange rubbing noise????

Bit of a random one I have a noise on the drivers side front wheel you can only really hear it below 40 and it gets worse when I turn left slightly it's as if it's rubbing on somthink with every reverloution of the wheel but had a look nothink rubbing and no play anywhere are these 306 hdi prone to drive shafts any help hopefully somebody has had the same I'm thinking drive shaft though ????

im prob wrong but jack up the car and see if their is any sidewards movement in the wheel. just to rule out a bearing

As above, sounds like it could well be a bearing.

More oftern than non a failed wheel bearing has little or no play, just noisey as f*ck! Lol. Sounds like joint to me.
