How fars the hungry horse from the services?
Edit - don't suppose anyone's got an alternator suitable for a 1.8 16v... Pretty sure that's what's whining and the stop light comes on every now and then which it says online can be if the alternators not charging properly?

Hmm no battery light doesn't come on... The stop light flickers but doesn't come on fully for a long period of time? When the temperatures around 100 so only happens in traffic. Thermostat might be going?

Yeah should be able to though I recommend using a heat gun when doing them so the paint don't crack
