As a few will have seen on facebook I've now picked up my new car, as titled it's a 2000 E46 330ci.. and I love it already tbh! Torque from the engine is pretty good to be fair and it's a nice balanced drive.
Anyways, pics I took last night when I viewed it.. I'll get some decent ones tomorrow
UPDATE:
Okay so.. list of the bits it's got and bits it's had done by the previous owner/s
Drilled and grooved discs all round
Black front grille (painted.. think it'll be done again properly in the future)
The newer style LED rear lights, think it brightens up the rear end quite nicely
Angels up front with white halos
Legal pressed plates with the german bmw motorsport surrounds
iPod and Aux connection
Full leathers
Cruise control
A/C.. (THAT ACTUALLY WORKS !!!1111!!)
Parking sensors
Sat-nav
It's done 118k but to be honest you really wouldn't think it! It does have the unfortunate problem E46's get with the wings and they have started to rust and bubbled up so they'll be getting replaced. I also plan to get the sport M front and rear bumpers. Paint the chrome strips around the windows black and get some nice rims for it eventually.
Funniest thing ever.. first day into BMW ownership.. has to replace a tyre
A few pics i got today
cheers

I preferred your 6....
Nah, the 330 is a lovely car. My mate has a 330 ci compact, such a nice drive, plenty of torque but very twitchy round corners. It feels like there's such a fine line before it'll spit you out into a tree.
I do really like this though, good choice mate

Cheers guys hatorz gunna hate' :p
Yeah the chrome around the windows will probably be going gloss black to match the badges and front grille..
Wheels will be staying until I find something tasty..
Other plans are to get an m sport bumper for the front to make it look a little more aggressive
Callum, the suspension on the compacts are totally different to the others! The compact uses the E30 rear suspension setup iirc which is a pretty damn old design.. so that'd explain in, also they've got a shorter wheelbase.
The one thing I don't 'like' is how light the steering is, I think it'll just take some getting used to though

That's a trouble with driving 306s... They made the steering just right. Anything else feels 'wrong'!

Steering in the scoob ιs awsome nice ɑnd light for parking but very well weighted with great precision ɑnd feel when motoring

Now I've got used to the steering it's actually really quite nice, considering the weight of the car it's so easy to drive

Some of them are pretty spectacularly bad! think it's where mud and water gets trappped up behind them and rots them out.. luckily this one isn't too bad..

Not bad man. If i was going to own a BMW, it would be one of these. They just seem to of gotten worse and worse over the years. I had a 320d msport a few weeks back.....was utter shite to drive!
Get them chrome window frames painted. Will improve the look 1000000%!

Watch out with replacing those wings.
The rust was a real issue for these and mercs of the same era due to a massive bad purchase of raw metal basically.
So DONT buy replacements ready painted...get late aftermarket high end replacements and have them painted or else it will just come back
