window motor and regulator, 2 different ones?

Theres one with a grey plastic clip that slides up and down the window and then theres one where the clip is green. so i have to change my motor and regulator. I had the one with the green clip but i got a breaker car and the clip is grey!! Doe this matter? will it still fit and work?
