See if you can scout out something different, that the vag scene will copy you from then you can be all like "ppft oh vag you're so out of date" . That will ruffle their truffles something fierce
What you suggesting? Provisionally bought some adaptors now so interested in any thing 4x100pcd. See if you can persuade me as going down the route of the turbos now

Tbh not sure if I'm gonna get new wheels or not just carnt make my mind up keep looking at other cars as I'm so bored of this car, but when I look at other cars all I think about is the epic mpg of this (recently getting better 56mpg round town) and I no I won't get that mpg with a Hdi/d turbo...,..
Just carnt make my mind up.

I have to say, I LOVE the ronals on the car. I saw your for sale thread before reading this, and thought you were mad getting rid, but definitely worth it if you end up with Ronals
Also, it hasn't been said for at least 2 posts, so HURRY UP AND TURBO IT!!!!

Bit of an update car is back on lenso's due to most people complaining saying the dinted wheel was f*cked so decided to put them on again getting the center nuts polished on Monday tidy them up abit.
Also bought some 266mm brakes of nail hopefully come next week, gonna start collecting the bits up to put them on braided lines, a bigger master cylinder etc
That's it for now not much else happening

I like the new wheels, pity they've had to come off again.
You managed to get the running gear issues sorted yet?

Not updated in while so few things been done, replaced the passanger side wishbone as ball joint had some play in so just replaced the whole thing.
Next up was decided to have a bash at fitting the audi cup holder will let the pics do the talking
The front is now on just needed some adjustment, its abit rough around the edges but it dose the job and saves me spilling my can all over the passenger seat in the corners
Next up was driving of the drive one day when car decided to bottom out slam the exhaust in to floor resulting in this
2 days later it decided snap off completely my bodge with chemical mental failed
Down at my mates unit having it welded back together, slight blow on it but hopefully bit of exhaust paste should sort it.
Next up is..... BOSCH!! so went to scrappy was looking for a 106 Bosch but didn't have any so brought back an xantia bosch so the plan is make this fit with lots of advice from samass and help from fellow members on her.
Been speaking to the Chinese were i work they offered me the oil for free so soon as i get this bosch on i can sort out filtering it and saving lots of money And with the money i save maybe there might be a turbo/superchager in the pipe line BUT dont hold me to that as you guys no i change my mind so many times
And this is how it stands at min gave it a quick wash and dry this morning
Badge fell off when i shut the bonnet will glue it back on when i can be bothered
Also picked up a 23mm 4 port master cylinder from scrappy so gonna crack on with sorting the 266mm brake set up out.
Also got some clear side repeaters to fit when i get round to it. And new windscreen wiper washer pump as mine has never worked and i fitted mistjets when i first got the car and never seen the affects of them yet.

shame you cannot adapt the back of a metro glove box, onto yours. the metros have this feature, which seems to be forgotten about.

So as few of may no, been putting the bosch on the 106 for the last 2 days got it all stripped down and pump on etc with in 3 hours! Thought it was all good took a while to start but thought it was good rebuilt it all took it for a spin and clouds and clouds of white smoke so 15/20 times of cambelt off and on couldn't get it right so gave up for Friday as was going to work.
Got jenks out this morning lend a hand after talking about it i had been timing it wrong i was working my 12 o'clock vertical off the floor instead of 12 o'clock off the pump so the timing was well out any way stripped all to bits again jenks timed it back u first time was very lumpy smokey, so moved it a tooth and sorted started first turn of key needs slight adjustment as there is still some white smoke under load but nothing to what it used to be like so, deiced to take it up and down road just to check make sure it was ok then this happened
http://youtu.be/odEzz9dibHU
Didnt even think about the bonnet not being clipped down! lucky just snapped the brackets and bent bonnet, no damage to rest of car thank f**k!
Anyway smoke wasnt that bad so built it all back up and went for a spin all seems good feels like it has abit more poke, as said before still slight white smoke on foot to floor pulls. So needs just a slight bit on pump but gonna see how i get on with it for now and do some more playing when my hands heal from all the chunks missing lol any way few pics
Did have some more pics but carnt be arsed with uploading them all.
Done for a while now with the car had so much stress with this never wanna touch a cambelt again lol
Just say a massive thanks to jenks to helping out/ getting it going TOP MAN!!
