When you pump up the brakes with the engine off, does the pedal creep much/atall if held on?

sounds like a nice fluid change is needed.
sort any air out and old fluid gets to feel horrid.

The pedal doesn't creep it stays solidso I'm quite confused
Yeah was thinking that I don't think it's anything to major they work fine but the pedal just doesn't have a nice feel like the dt.

5.1 can be got for a tenner.
a litre would probably do it...but grab two for future use.
best 1/2hr and 20quid you will spend. brakes not to be fooled with!

Was just thinking il need to bleed the abs pump won't I? I'm feel like a complete noob.

Give it a good fluid change! Had exactly the same symptoms as this with mine, and a fluid change took it away

Thank you for the help everyone I read that you need to plug the car in to do the abs but that must of been poor information thanks again il leave you rep.

How do you bleed the abs pump then? Without pp (and with) ?!?
Oh I didn't see piggy's post above about the abs pump, just as usual then!

Bleeding the abs pump without PP you just bleed the brakes as normal. Remember to start furthest from the brake servo, back towards the nearest.
With PP, I do not know. When a warning light comes on I remove the bulb :p someone will be able to help you.

You dont need to bleed the ABS pump. The valves stay open constantly until the abs actually kicks in so its just like bleeding a system without ABS.
What grants saying is if your on your own, instead of having a friend help bleed, you can plug PP in to the car and it will modulate the pump to do the job of the person in the car. All you have to do is keep the master cylinder topped up and open the nipples until you get a steady flow of fluid.

but slight problem with the brakes the pedal feels spongy but the brakes work fine. When the engine is off and you pump the pedal it's goes solid so I'm quite confused.
