Want to buy a new bike
#31
^^^ See i really don't like working on the SRAM stuff, it just dosen't feel right. Much prefer the Shimano stuff as its nicer to work on and in my experience gives a more positive shift and have never had a issue with it breaking myself.

I suppose what this thread shows is its alot down to personal preference. Get out and ride a load of bikes, your more than welcome to come and have a go on mine

Dispise scram and avid, they seem to just be getting more expensive for no gain, their brakes definitely arent what they were 4-5 years ago. For every shimano brake we see at work we must see 5-10 avids, had about 4 in this week alone and theyre all fairly new brakes, no more than 3 years old, levers needing new internals, pistons sticking, seals leaking.

Not a great price but probably a good kind of thing for what you want adam. Plus fox forks are the dogs
