foudn some 40mm lowering springs of a 1.9diesel 306 wiht the shocks, will they fit straight on to a hdi?

Yes they will, however you may want to just quickly check the engine weights, as I think the HDI is heavier than the 1.9XUD. If they were meant for a lighter engine they will obviously lower a car with a heavier engine by a greater amount
