I need to change the belt from my D turbo it has the altenator at the top and pas at the bottom, no aircon. How do i slacker the belt?

i guess you will have the lollipop tensioner so you have to undo the 2 6mm allen keys and the do up the 6mm allen key on the bottom of the tensioner to get the belt off

When changing the belt should all the pullys remain in the same place?
This is what a mate is saying, but I thought that was when changing the timeing belt?

You mate is telling fibbies, you can do what you like with the aux belt tensioner.
