Bit of an update car went to garage this morning had new front pipe as the old one had a nice hole in. exhaust is now all sealed up, not sounding great tbh but i wasnt expect it to being a derv. Got the back box leveled up now so it dont hang to one side also wind deflectors come so go them straight on :-D

Bit of an update not much happening with this tbh fitted to clear indicators as mine were very old and frosted
Also fitted the K&N filter that i had off the d turbo
Thats about it, Did a run to Essex 315mile round trip yesterday and got 67.7 MPG well happy with that been getting around 52mpg around town, saving me a fair few quid compered to the old d turbo..... All tho im so bored of putting my foot down and going no were think about adding more fuel see if it makes any difference or not.

Bit of an updated, took k&n off as the noise got on my nerves and dropped the mpg, Today i got on with cutting the aches and fitting them will let the pics do the talking
Was getting ready for rain as it went dark but it never came lol
So thats on just waiting for the tiger seal to dry, didnt use that much i screwed the kit on mainly just the front archs had most of the tiger seal on as there wasnt any were to screw them.
Bits waiting to go on are some brand new number plates
Lowering springs
Gloss black vynial for the roof
Powerflex lower engine mount
Need to save up and get rear lowered tempted to get a gti axle tho and swap them but not sure yet
Also if any one can help the car sits a good 10-15mm lower on the drivers side than the passenger side what could be causing this? worn shocks?

Probably just tired beam/springs. My old one used to do it. Lower it and it should be fine.

Once you get it lowered this will look epic. Honestly when you got it I had to lol that you flogged the hdi and ended up in this but now I love it, wouldn't mind it as a daily along side something fast!

Yer weren't great when i got it, think i made a bad move selling the hdi but i still stand by what i said it was boring to drive and really dont like electrics all over the engine, simple mechanical engine is the way forward Also i wanted one of these before i bought the hdi so i got what i wanted. Would be great to have something rapid against the side of this because it would work as the money you save driving this 50+mpg mega cheap to insure etc etc hopefully once ive finished modding this will be able to save up to get something faster but will have to see how i get on with this, tbh surprised ive kept it this long

I wouldn't use rapid and nad in the same sentence but they can move when ragging the fook out of them.

Looking for Xsi seats/door cards or s1 rallye seats don't really want gti half leathers as they cost to much for a mint set I would be worried about wearing them down or ripping them lol tbh not in a rush to sort them tho as focusing on the exterior at the min
