It's from a J- reg, volvo 850 petrol according to the seller but he says the name plate is missing - odd. Apparently a 2.5 turbo, i can't seem to identify what it could be apart from thinking it's probably a td04 of some sort with a b/c type cold side (as opposed to a 13g staggered wheel off a subaru).
I won it for 99p but i duno if i can be bothered to go fetch it, in which case i'll just paypal the dude his £1 and allow it.
Any ideas?

That's a TD04HL mate
Edit: Depending on the engine code its either a 13G (unlikely), 15G, 16T, 18T or 19T.

Cheers, where did you find the information from? TD04HL - Yeah thats what i was thinking, going by the online turbo application lists. It's defo not a G turbine wheel though as they all appear to be the same length meaning it must be a 'T' wheel.

All the Volvo turbo applications are listed here: http://www.swededemon.com/turbo/turbolist.html
, the 2.5 was an inline 5 cylinder so that narrows it down a bit. It lists a few dates but nothing 100% for J reg engines.

Nice one mate, i've tried to find a few images of a T turbine wheel and they don't appear to look like the ebay pic. The pug elbow looks to be completely different so i'm going to have to pull off some epic bodge with the welder.

It's around £20 that he wants to post it, i'd then rather shell out for the tried and tested td04l 13g tbh If i actually get this bodged and it lasts longer than a month... 'cheap as chips' i'll get my coat...

That's only for whiteblock engines... With that CBV I'd bet you it'd off a redblock 4 pot.
It's probably off a 2.3 B230FT or a B23FT, they came with a TD04 on the later models...
