Keep a car but not insure it?

I've just swapped my insurance about so that I'm insuring the DT only
How do I go about the Rallye? As its currently off road, it's sorned. And won't be back on the road for a little bit, seems pointless paying insurance when it's not being used?

Do nothing. As long as it's SORNed you can have it uninsured off-road. It's only when you have tax that you have to insure it.
Car history (starting Jan 2012):

106 1.1 Zest2 (Scrapped)
206 1.1 (Sold)
306 Dturbo (Totaled)
BMW 318i E46 (Sold)
306 Dturbo (Engine failure)
306 HDi Estate (Sold)
306 Dturbo in black (Sold)
205 1.9 GTI (Sold)

As said above as long as the car is sorned and not on the public road you don't need insurance.

You can get driveway insurance, I did when mine was off the road, only cost about £70 for the year, that way if it did go I would get money for it

Who did you get that from Jonny? I might consider that as the GTi will more than likely be off the road all of next winter.
