Last couple of days the fans seem to keep switching on when i start the engine when its cold and they stay on for anywhere between a couple seconds or a few minutes

Anyone know why?

Most of the time its the relays between the fans. Have a look for my 'replacing faulty twin fan motors' guide, it shows the fans and relays. Hope that helps.
