But isn't that the definition of a donation? Giving something away, often of monetary value?
Just saying anyway...

Dont think so. Thanks though. Ruan will be looking over it tomorrow so im sure he can confirm what else we may need.
Today was spent replacing the ball joint it failed on. Sounds simple right? Oh no! We were going to change the whole wishbone but the front bolt was stupidly tight and eventually when it did give way, the threads gave way
Bought a new ball joint but the old one was riveted in. Took 3 hours with the limited tools we had to get it out and replace in the cold and wet. Still done now so will have a years ticket monday morning which means next weekend is full ahead go for the engine change

Actually i have thought of something we need which is a big ask i realise!
FMIC. Even a tiny one will do. just that we cant use the TMIC with the engine so need some cooling!

Limited tools?!
The two drills, angle grinder, blow torch and hammers we had, ontop of the standard tools such as sockets and jacks etc.
LOL
That said, i think props goes to Samass for lying under that thing near enough non stop. Team effort from everyone, but that bloke was relentless in getting it done. Well played to you sir.

I found an awesome way to get stuck balljoints out, only works when the front bumper is off though.
After you've moved the joint a bit with a crowbar, get an old torsion bar and a BFO tapping stick and smash the torsion bar inbetween the balljoint and hub, soon popped it out, and not as damaging as you might think if you're careful

Nah, getting it out the hub wasn't the issue. Getting it out the wishbone was. Rivets ftl.

Ah I see. Never encountered riveted ones, but rounded torx heads must be almost as bad!

Not especially at the moment mate, I'm away in Hong Kong at the moment and the past few weeks have been very hectic. Though Kim went over to mine during the week and sent me a photo asking "Is it supposed to be this low?" and it looks like the rear beam may have given up the ghost. I'll see if she can take a proper photo when she's next at mine.

Not being funny but having an engine, an extremely heavy set of wheels, all that other crap etc can't be helping it. When I drove alongside you after nialls it was sitting properly low.
Right height if you ask me..
