So was driving along today, Eli points out a skyline, i'm saying "don't be stupid, thats a ford cougar" ... only saw it after it was gone, being the man i am knowing everything about every car, UNTIL driving on my own and next to pulls up this gash looking nissan, with "Nissan Skyline 350 gt" on the back!?!
Where and when the hell did these make the skyline scene?!?
SOOO ugly!

It's what Nissan did in America mainly I believe. Between the real skylines.

I thought they were the 350z re modelled for foreign markets. They ain't 4wd so it ain't a real skyline.

Spot these quite often, But I do see allot grey imports around here R35 Skyline as Chris has said. They remind me of a bloated 350z!

But all skylines came in rwd didn't they..? In fact i'm fairly sure 4wd wasn't even an option before the R32...

Almost, the Infiniti was a 'G35' chassis whereas the Nissan equivalent is a V35, but for all intents and purposes they are the same thing. There was no 'GTR' version of the V/G35, it was merely a luxury coupe. Think of it more as a Nissan Primera Coupe and you're on the right track. The numbers refer to the engine size. A 250GT - 2.5 liter. The 350GT - a 3.5 liter.
Quite a bit different to a 350Z really, based on the same platform but that's pretty much where the similarities end.
As for the UK cars, quite a lot of them are Nissan models as I don't *think* the Infiniti was marketed over here (Infiniti being a luxury brand of Nissan, like Lexus is to Toyota...).
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.
