hub bolt holes rung

hub bolt holes rung

my rear left hub has nearly all the holes rung and its hard to get any bolts to catch and tighten.should i just replace the whole hub or is there any other options?

Holes rung?

Presuming you mean worn out. Hub is not too tricky to change at all.

You mean you have pulled all the threads out?

Either way, just change the hub Smile Get it done soon to, not really to safe driving around with bolts that barely hold themselves in....

Yeah guys sorry that's what I meant lol. Il get a new one then and I'm sure it'll not be hard to change, don't want the wheel falling off

Cheaper/easyer/quicker to just replace the whole hub.


Wouldnt advice driving it if its that bad. It would take much to rip out whats left with no warning atall.


Also check its not just the wheel nuts that are stripped rather than the hum. In my experience the bolt shreds the thread way before it pulls them out the hub
