So recently my Cars MOT expired so my mates recommended a garage called BM autos in Lowestoft. I take my car there and its feels dodgy from the start, but decide to trust my mates judgment.
They then find a fuel leak and have to fix that before they mot my car, so I say okay fix it. 3 days later I have no phonecalls or nothing telling me what's happening so I went to the garage today. Only one guy in and he has no idea about my car so I tell him to get "Del" to call me back later. No call for 2 hours so I phone up and get through to the guy I spoke with earlier who is clearly in a mood. He then passes the phone to Del and says "sort him out before I lump him one" wtf!
Turns out they can't mot my car as its too low, but are charging me for fixing the leak!
Mugged off! So now I have to find another garage and go through it all again. Might just scrap the car and be done with it!

What part of the mot cant they do due to the height issue?

Probably get it onto the rollers for the brake testing. In all fairness, some of these garages do struggle with stuff like that!

They could have told me that before charging me to fix something so they can do the MOT.

Dec just get it done by Carl Chambers! Youre near enough and him and that cathedral garage is the best thing ever! You know its a good job and theyll find any other problems that others will probably miss too!
