Tom I'll have you know I'm fitter than you might think - I've just given up the fags and plan to get back down to 18 stone by 31/5/13 - my sons 2nd birthday But if you think I'm unfit ask grant milkman or Matt if I was lagging when we went clubbing at the Xmas meet.

BMI is a pretty archaic method of measuring fitness. People never take it that serious. As soon as you start putting on muscle it basically goes out the window.
My BMI is apparently spot on I'm 5'11 and 75kg. Which is good for me as I have to watch my weight and eat copious amounts of food every day. If your using clubbing as a measurement of fitness then there's a problem
