i have only owned 4 cars. 2 metros and 2 306s. but drove different cars, like the almera, Rover 25, ford probe, 405 ,406, A4,106, propper mini, bmw mini, clio and a corsa. worst one out of that lot was the corsa, the bmw mini wasnt setting my world on fire.

Ive owned more cars than that, had a mk3 golf, bmw 318tds, caddy van to name a few...
ive driven lots of cars/vans too, worst had to be the mothers 1.5 petrol almera, drank juice and was giddy as f*ck, the micra she had before that was a hoot, mind you i was 17 when she had the micra and anything that went 70 and you could go sideways if you pushed hard enough was fun....
one of the worst cars ive own had to be the beemer, engine so underpowered for the car it was rediculous!!

other one was a 1.4 petrol i drove for a month before i had to get rid, drank juice and i needed boost in my life!

the almera i found was a drinker like, biggest laughs i have had, have been with my old Dturbo with the boost, also the metro is a giggle as its like a mini on acid. my mate got a right kick out it, as tho he was driving his propper mini again. he sharp got that back on the road.
but the way that turbo would spool on the Dturbo and then that kick, f*ck me it was adictive! i do miss that with the HDi, but window down and hear the turbo spool sort of makes up for that. i will have to get that remapped sometime.

1hdi & 2 Dts,
But also drove a corsa 1.4sport, saxo vtr, Audi A3 1.8T and a beast of a Renault 11 1.4 carb while my 306s were broken.
On the 306 waiting list.

I've owned 6 of the bloody things so far!
My neighbour had one when I was learning to drive and I liked it so I bought one.....soon got bored as it was a ph2 pov spec 1.4 so replaced it with a meridian....that meridian (not even 9 years old at the time!) was so shit and broken I had to get rid of it....so replaced it with chapperz China 1.4.....which was too slow and ate gearboxes, so I replaced it with a 1.8.....which was too thirsty so I replaced that with a diesel golf. owned 2 HDi estates since as well, not happy with either of those either lol.....why can't I just be pleased with one car!

Ph2 gti is near enough ph3 anyway, same bumpers and stuff. Just the inside thats different iirc, and that can be easily upgraded.

In 9 years of driving, i've had four cars in total.
106 1.1 XL Independence, GTi rep
205 1.6 GTi in white with white bump strips and red pinstripe, pepperpot wheels
Phase 1 Sigma blue > Phase 3 Sundance yellow converted 306 GTi
Phase 2 306 LXDT Estate with a big blower and silly modifications
I don't see the point in changing cars regularly, always just got stuck in and fixed whatever was needed...

tempted by another couple, van i wanted is sold
phase 1 is clean enough, well will be when i get around to it, needs a heater matrix n engine, bonnet and wings bit rough but have ones in diablo there, have skirts in diablo there for it too and have a full s16 red fleck half leather interior to go in, would be clean if it were finished lol
